Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a combination of the name of a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. It included the smash track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) reached number one on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than one year in 2020.
